Stubbled on this site whilst trying to make sense of FFP..........

I have submitted assessments around 2 weeks ago to Kaplan... anyone got any idea what the current pass rate is, and did anyone else find it really hard, there were some days I was just staring at the computer waiting for divine intervention....

Would love to hear from anyone who has passed, failed or otherwise to give your feedback to the process.

Just wanting feedback in regards to the current Job Agencies for Melbourne (and south estern Melbourne) that specialise in recruiting for the Financial Industry.

Anyone used them and what luck did they have?

I am not finished my Diploma yet - but looking for Client/Services admin while studying.

Currently been a Client Services Team Leader for 3 years in an unrelated industry - but not finding a lot of advertised positions available for finance.

New to this site, just wanted to get some feedback in regards to the opportunities they may have come accross after completing their Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning.)

I am currently ready to start my 2nd component (RM) with Kaplan, while juggling full-time work and 3 young children. I am extremely eager to get into the financial services industry as a para-planner but have noted the Diploma will need to be completed first.

As my current employment is not in the financial services industry I am trying to find an administrative/client services role while I am studying, at this stage that is not progressing well.

Any advise and feedback welcome.

Hi is anyone currently studying this module? im confused on q3 which is asking to "describe agreed and indemnity value and who would suit each one being either a employed or self-employed person. not sure who should have what?

Im just after people's feedback and help in relation to the following question in my Investment Planning 1 assignment.

Question:

Calculate the purchase price of a 10-year government bond parcel with two full years remaining in its term. The bond’s yield rate is 8.95% p.a., paid as a half-yearly coupon, and assume that the prevailing market interest rate is 7.50% p.a. Use a parcel price of $100.

I got $102.64 for my answer. Does this seem right....

Has anyone else got the answer to this.
