2007 August

2000 members!

Well, 2 years and 1 day after launching the site, we have just reached 2000 registered members.

We had our best month ever last month with 219 new members, plus 111 new members so far this month.

I know most people aren’t really interested - but you all know I’m a sucker for stats

Happy Birthday to us! InvestEd turns 2

Happy birthday everyone - today is the 2nd anniversary of the launch of InvestEd.

We are ecstatic about how well the forums have grown - with over 30,000 posts and very nearly 2,000 members signed up in that period (especially good given how slow our start was!).

We think the InvestEd forums have become a great place for discussion and learning about all forms of investing, and we are really enjoying being a part of this community.

Thanks everyone - we (literally) could not have done it without you!

New feature: Premium Membership

By popular demand, we have now implemented a Premium Membership option on InvestEd.

For only $35 per year, you will enjoy a more streamlined and optimised forum experience with no banner or sidebar adverts and many upgraded or additional features not available to regular members.

Here are some of the current premium membership features:

  • Hide all banner and sidebar adverts
  • Unlimited attachment upload (normally 5MB)
  • Increased PM mailbox size to 100 stored messages (normally 10)
  • Use PM tracking
  • Send PMs to up to 5 of your friends at once (normally only 1 recipient per PM)
  • Set a custom user title to be displayed below your username on every forum post
  • Upload a larger custom avatar - up to 120×120 px
  • Set yourself to invisible mode so that others can’t see you online
  • … and more!

You may subscribe using our paid subscriptions page with a choice of PayPal or credit card payment via our Australian payment gateway.

Synopsis
