Aussie banks face funding crisis

Australian banks face a massive 2009 funding challenge because of a mismatch between funding and their mortgage and business lending assets says JP Morgan analyst Brian Johnson.
Banks say the analysis is based on old numbers from 2007.
Johnson says $9.9 billion of new corporate debt exposures have emerged to endanger bank's funding positions.
