Caution is the word for economic forecast

Guys,

Interesting article looking forward from a US perspective. Nice general read indicating the market is softening over there which is no real suprise. Property has gone a bit bubble and could pose a risk to their economy. Here's the full article:

Was reading along, going "yeah, yeah, got it, know that" then got to this nice little snippit at the very end:

Now that's gotta put a smile on your dial if your leveraged into the ASX at the moment doesn't it!

Cheers,
Michael.

Economic Forecasts

Thanks for that Michael. Always nice to see what the 'guns' out there are thinking. Appreciate your thought's (or anyone else's for that matter) but a slowdown in the US economy could be expected to flow through to Oz. Concensus used to be that the Oz economy lagged the US by a 1.5 to 2 years is that still applicable or has the 'global economy' changed all that old stuff.

Given the thoughts in the article what are your thoughts on Oz RE. Softening over the next 24 or so months or possibly going backwards?

In sum, am fishing for thoughts/ideas on what the future MAY hold given the future is a funny old thing!

Cheers
