Job Agencies - Specialising in FP - Melbourne

Hi all,

Just wanting feedback in regards to the current Job Agencies for Melbourne (and south estern Melbourne) that specialise in recruiting for the Financial Industry.

Anyone used them and what luck did they have?

I am not finished my Diploma yet - but looking for Client/Services admin while studying.

Currently been a Client Services Team Leader for 3 years in an unrelated industry - but not finding a lot of advertised positions available for finance.

Ta,
Mel.

Really?
On seek.com.au I punch in "financial planning" in "Melbourne" and get 770 jobs.

ok - yeah I agree, on there now... 770 jobs. weed out the ones from Inner Melbourne and just search South or Eastern suburbs.
Then the ones that I am capable of want from 12 months to 3 years in a similar role?

If you apply for these and you haven't worked for a financial institution before do you think they would take note?

Just curious on your thoughts.

Hi Mel,

I'd focus on your strengths, ie, client services, moving into these sort of roles in financial services and then you can continue studying with your employer helping to pay for it

Cheers,

Dan
