Best financial calculator to buy?

Hi All,

I'm part way through studying my Advanced Financial Planning certification and have decided I need a new/better calculator.

I understand people's preferences will vary, but form the research I've done so far it seems many people recommend HP devices.

A lot seem to use the HP 12c , similarly a lot use the HP 10BII or HP 20B.

What do you use? And, once working as a FP, do you find you 'still' use your calculator or is everything software/computer based?

Thanks for your opinions.

I'm not advising yet, but as a paraplanner I tend to use excel or the windows calculator. My boss tends to always use excel. In excel you can track what calculations you have already performed which tend to help lengthy calcs.

I bought a financial calculator when I started the DFP but I don't think I've really used it. It was a Sharp something, but I haven't got it with me at the moment.
